Advanced Training in Fire Fighting

Is an advanced maritime safety course designed for officers and senior crew members with responsibilities for fire prevention and fire-fighting operations on board ships. The course builds upon basic fire-fighting knowledge and focuses on leadership, command, and coordination during complex fire emergencies.

Training covers advanced fire behavior, fire risk assessment, organization of fire parties, use of fixed fire-extinguishing systems, and coordination of fire-fighting operations under hazardous conditions. Participants receive intensive practical training in managing fire scenarios, including enclosed-space fires, cargo fires, and engine-room fires, as well as the use of breathing apparatus and protective equipment. Upon completion, trainees are qualified to take command during fire emergencies, ensuring the safety of personnel, the vessel, and the marine environment in accordance with international maritime standards.
