Company Security Officer

Is a maritime security training course designed for personnel appointed by a shipping company to be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Company Security Plan in accordance with the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code.

The course provides comprehensive knowledge of maritime security threats, risk assessment, and security management at the company level. Training covers security policies, roles and responsibilities of the CSO, coordination with Ship Security Officers (SSO) and Port Facility Security Officers (PFSO), incident reporting, drills and exercises, and compliance with international regulations. Upon completion, trainees are qualified to manage and oversee company-wide maritime security measures, ensuring the protection of ships, personnel, cargo, and port facilities.
