Port Facility Security Officer

Is a maritime security training course designed for personnel designated to be responsible for security at port facilities in accordance with the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code.

The course provides participants with the knowledge and skills required to assess security risks, develop, implement, and maintain the Port Facility Security Plan, and ensure compliance with international maritime security regulations. Training covers security threats, vulnerability assessments, access control, monitoring of port operations, coordination with Ship Security Officers (SSO) and Company Security Officers (CSO), incident response, and the conduct of drills and exercises. Upon completion, trainees are qualified to manage and coordinate security measures at port facilities to protect ships, personnel, cargo, and infrastructure.
